Lakshmi Puja and Ethical Prosperity
Prosperity in the Diwali tradition includes cleanliness, discipline and generosity.
Goddess Lakshmi is welcomed into a clean, illuminated and harmonious home. The symbolism extends beyond money: prosperity includes health, skill, trust, time and the ability to share. Business communities may also open new account books and pray for honest growth.
